Cartoons are a language everyone can understand and enjoy.
Posted by: | CommentsCartoons are a language everyone can understand and enjoy.
A cartoon image also encapsulates a thought that can stay in your mind longer.
‘As the images can linger in our minds it is said that a good cartoon can cause people to smile (- even laugh) for 5 seconds and think for 5 minutes. A cartoon allows you to approach a sensitive subject in a non-threatening way as cartoons are open to interpretation”. A visual captionless cartoon is universal, breaking down language and cultural barriers.

LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION and cartoon!
Posted by: | CommentsA friend emailed me this today – I thought it was really amusing. Where do they think them up?
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
1. Trevor Adams, my assistant programmer, can always be found
2. hard at work at his desk.Trevor works independently, without
3. wasting company time talking to colleagues.Trevor never
4. thinks twice about assisting fellow employees, and he always
5. finishes given assignments on time.Often he takes extended
6. measures to complete his work, sometimes skipping coffee
7. breaks.Trevor is an individual who has absolutely no
8. vanity in spite of his high accomplishments and profound
9. knowledge in his field. I firmly believe that Trevor can be
10. classed as a high-calibre employee, the type that cannot be
11. dispensed with.Consequently, I truly recommend that Trevor be
12. promoted to executive management, and a proposal will be
13. executed as soon as possible.
Addendum. The idiot was watching over my shoulder while I wrote this report.
Kindly re-read only the odd numbered lines.

Customer Service – cartoons!
Posted by: | CommentsCartoon Studio mission statement…Produce quality cartoons for YOU in a creative and stressfree manner!
Here’s some cartoons(That I’ll show you here over the next few posts.) I did to illustrate a book titled WHO PAYS YOUR SALARY – IT’S NOT YOUR BOSS By Jacob Thomas.
If you would like to reserve your copy of the book please click here…WHO PAYS YOUR SALARY

(This was only the initial sketch.)
CHAPTER 3 Extract….
There’s an old expression, “Perception is all there is”. The customer’s perception is reality, and perception is rarely neutral: it’s either positive or negative.
When seating me in a St. Louis area restaurant, the host pulled out the chair. I was grateful, but one look under the table filled me with apprehension. I could see under the table that the floor was littered with crumbs and empty cracker packages. When I see the dining room floor, I now know what the kitchen looks like and what kind of food to expect. That’s my perception — and it becomes the reality by which I decide whether to eat there again.
Caricatures as Christmas Gifts!
Posted by: | CommentsDon’t leave it too late to order your caricature gifts for your friends and family.
Here’s a reply I recently got for producing this caricature…(It was drawn at A3 size.)
If you are looking for a caricature, then look no further. This man is a genius, his work truly beautiful. He captured my parents perfectly and we couldn’t ask for anything more. He was completely open to my vision of how the picture should look, made changes without complaint and in reality the finished article exceeds all your expectations. We are looking forward to commissioning the next one! Thank you Richard.

Christmas Card design-come-safety-cartoon!
Posted by: | CommentsHere’s a cartoon I drew for a client last year – it was to illustrate you should still think about safety even at Christmas.

And a quick ABC of safety….
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Better to have two on the job than one in the hospital.
Carbon monoxide is the “silent killer”, install CO detectors.
No, it's NOT too early to be thinking of Christmas Card designs!
Posted by: | CommentsIt’s the second week into September and already I am working on 5 bespoke company Christmas greetings cards! So it’s not too early to be thinking about yours.
