Cartoon Wedding map!
Posted by: | CommentsHi,
It’s wedding season here and I’ve recently produced a little wedding map to help guests find the church and then afterwards help them get to the reception. Now isn’t that a very neat idea – not mine but from the guy how commissioned it.(I’m full of ideas but he beat me to this one!)

I did this cartoon map some months ago for Kristina at aMaizin theme park in Jersey Channel Isles, it was very challenging but satisfying…

Cartoon Map for aMaizin theme park Jersey
Here’s Kristina’s comments on satisfactory completion….
Brilliant!
It is always difficult to capture the essence of an attraction,
especially with only photographs for reference! The Cartoon Studio
worked diligently to achieve what we wanted, interpreting our ideas and
adding character and emphasis. From an initial enquiry to completion,
the whole project was handled extremely professionally and I expect to
use The Cartoon Studio for many future projects. Well done!
Best wishes for the future!!
Kristina

Cartoon maps!
Posted by: | CommentsHi,
I’ve just finished putting together a page on the Cartoon Maps I’ve done.
Here’s a bit of the blurb that went with it….
Most of you might not be familiar with the term cartoon maps but might have actually encountered them several times already. By definition, a cartoon map is an illustrated map of a certain place, be it a city or a town. The difference of cartoon map from all the other kinds of maps is that it contains caricatures and illustrations of landmarks, people, transportation, and everything in between. Cartoon maps are meant to catch and hold the attention of its target audience with its colorful illustrations and funny, sometimes witty, depiction of events or situations.
Cartoon maps are powerful advertisement materials. Because they are fun, colorful, and non-threatening, people respond to them positively. A good cartoon map also entertains its viewers while making its message stick to their memory for a long while. For those who want to attract attention to their business or service, cartoon maps can provide the ideal solution….
