Christmas Gift Guide – cartoon for press release!
Posted by: | CommentsOk, I realise Christmas is months away – but I came across this series of cartoons while I was searching around for something else in my archives. Here’s the breif for the cartoons…
Hi Richard,
As discussed, I would be really keen to see an example illustration that shows how our software works with digital devices. The illustrations will then be sent to the press, for possible use in ‘Christmas Gift Guide’ articles, or to trigger ideas for possible future articles.
One illustration will be to demonstrate how by using the software Easy Media Creator - you can easily share/transfer your treasured family photos, music and video from your computer to a mobile device, such as an iPod, Sony Portable Playstation or to mobile phones. A copy of our company logo is attached for your info, and also an image of the software’s new packaging.
The second idea is a concept, which I would welcome your ideas on how this could be portrayed via a cartoon / image. Most people these days have a digital camera, a mobile phone, computer, video camera, iPod etc It’s not uncommon for people to have more than one of these devices. The Easy Media Creator software allows you make the most from all of these devices, so whether you want to convert old LPs onto CD; create photo slideshows on your computer; edit video footage or even just back up important documents on your computer, this software allows you to do this. It’s been compared to a Swiss army knife of software in the past! One tool for many jobs. Would appreciate your feedback on how you feel you can portray this in pictures!
Football Greatest Managers!

Book Mark cartoon designs!

Cartoons for “Why Wallpaper” leaflet!
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve just found these cartoons on an old CD labeled 1999. I’m guessing this was about the time I first started using the computer for doing artwork. The cartoons were drawn in a slightly different style.(Clients request!) I inked onto a textured paper, I used to call it ‘eggshell’. I’m not sure if that was the proper name. Then used a China marker for the shading.(Sorry about the quality.)
Cartoon attracts attention for flier!
Posted by: | CommentsHi, Here’s a cartoon I recently drew for an advertisement flier. The cute little grannie having her computer problems solved attracts the attention for the flier.
Do you think this flier would work as well with just enlarging the text/logo? Personally I don’t think so.
