Dear John,
Just got back from my Easter holiday in time before the volcano
erupted in Iceland. I’ve got a brother on an extended cruise around
Egypt, a neighbour who’s in Wales after his Crete holiday was cancelled
and a friend of my daughter who’s in China with no way of getting back.
It’s just great to be stuck at WORK!
I’ve had some very interesting feedback, with some people actually picking up their emails from the countries they’re stuck in while on their holidays. Lots of subscribers know of someone who’s stuck somewhere in the world and not able to get back. Some found the cartoon funny but on the other hand some were upset enough to un-subscribe!
So maybe I shouldn’t have done it?
